Technology, data and the architecture of gender-based violence.

Technology did not invent gender-based violence. It changed its reach. This zine argues that everyday technology — accounts, permissions, household admin, ranking and recommendation — extends and intensifies intimate-partner violence when it is working exactly as designed.

It makes the case that accountability belongs to the systems, not to the person being harmed, and reads as a sequence of designed, interactive spreads rather than a report.

Intimate partner violence and intersectionality in Canada.

An intersectional examination of the systemic barriers facing 2SLGBTQI+ survivors of intimate partner violence. The report combines disaggregated data, survivor narratives, and structural analysis to document how race, gender identity, socioeconomic status, and immigration status compound risk — and how shelters, healthcare, and legal systems continue to exclude the people most exposed.

It sets out where geographic and cultural-competence gaps leave survivors unsupported, and recommends gender-neutral and affirming shelter practice, expanded resources in rural and northern regions, and intersectionality-informed training for service providers.
